Karl particularly enjoys California teams including the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After earning his degree in Marketing, Karl Motey worked for Cyrix Corporation as their Regional Sales Manager. Motey then moved to Bell Microproducts and worked as their Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Manager. Motey served as the Senior Vice President of Equity Research Analysis for Wachovia Capital Markets. Karl was ranked in the top fifteen analysts at Wachovia and second in Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street.”
This experience led Karl Motey to become a Strategy Consultant in Business Development for Spansion, Inc. Motey worked closely to create successful post-bankruptcy IR (Investor Relations) strategy. Motey excelled in this role and was quickly promoted to the Vice President of Business Development. In this position, Motey co-led a staff of over 100, led a cross-functional due diligence team, and increased their target market by more than two billion dollars.
Karl Motey is an expert in mergers and acquisitions. Specifically, Karl excels in business and risk analysis, valuation, negotiations, integration planning, and new business initiatives. Motey has proven his abilities time and time again. Motey is so talented that he currently works for himself as an independent business consultant.
